Loch Fyne Whiskies is in the Royal Burgh of Inveraray, on the shores of Loch Fyne, in the county of Argyll on the west coast of Scotland. The business is privately owned and very independent, not aligned to any producer. We are not part of a chain as we believe in a policy that there can only be one centre of excellence. Most weekdays you can come to the shop and speak with the owner Richard Joynson, K.Q.

"His company operates a popular mail order business and also welcomes visitors from all over the world to its shop in the picturesque Argyllshire village of Inveraray. Generous fellow that he is, Richard promises customers purchasing whisky as a gift that if it's not appreciated by the recipient the Loch Fyne staff will finish it for them if they simply return the bottle.

Since 2002 Whisky Magazine has been bestowing rewards for the Whisky trade, and Loch Fyne Whiskies has always been the first retailer to be recognised each time.

We were the first Retailer of the Year as selected by members of the industry.

In 2004 the readership were invited to vote, and we became the first Retailer ICON.

In 2008 we were recognised in a new category as the first Online Outlet of the year.
