Surprisingly yet pleasingly grainy, toffee, pears nice light weight. To taste it is well flavoured, well-balanced and very complex, quite salty, a finish that starts before swallowing (that's a first).

Superb! Ace.

It seems to be getting peatier but the style is of light drinkability with great complexity. Made by the owners of Glenmorangie (and more recently Ardbeg).

Islands! Sweets shops! This is good! All engaging, all tongue coating, balanced with a little charred/bitter note in the swallow. Don't let it near water though - goes to pieces immediately!
