The first time we sniffed and supped this we could not believe how peaty this considering the delightful ‘Traditional’.

A while later we tried it with some more time, here is bouncy fruit, sweet esters and then the peat comes out, under this there is some spent matches as found from some other sherry matured whiskies. There is a big peaty vapour in the mouth, good balance on the tongue, slightly sweet with a peat swallow and long peat and sweet finish. Ace!
