A rich and very entertaining dram with a variety of flavour experiences.

Here’s a rich, deep mahogany whisky begging to be enjoyed, and it delivers in style.

The neat nose is, in short, everything. Big, rich, chocolate, vanilla and esters; prunes and mince pies. A little solvent as saccharine and acid-drops and a big element of dammit-drinkme. Obliging, it’s strong on the tongue; sour tends to bitter tends to sweet and lastly salt. Out the ground comes peat (as Victory V’s). Next wood notes as treacle and vanilla. Now rich, cocoa / coffee. Next waxy and finally, and this is just the taste, finally cream liqueur.

Water brings salted crisps to the nose list but really works on the taste, dilute is great with citrus fruits revealed. A gosh-that’s-good dram and so, (ta-daa) an ace.
