The second best selling De Luxe (after JW Black Label) and quite the opposite. While JWBL blasts about the mouth this is feeble stuff, created for the US market where flavour is too confusing for the traditional Scotch drinkers.

Nose.

Quite prickly, ester, zest of lime, peach, beef gravy, nettles, love-hearts, sap grassy.

Taste

Soft, quiet, oranges/tangerines, pleasant all engaging, salt & bitter.

Complex, well balanced with a moderate finish.
