More wood influence spoils it for some, best wait for the revelations of the thirty year old. [Blind tasting note from RJ during the SFWC:Loads of sherry wood, some burnt smoke. Nice well-balanced dram, slight pepper and spice, I like this. Water reveals lemons but everything else is well balanced and well, chust perfect! Covers all the tongue with no dominant elements. Score 9.5/10]

Without argument one of the finest whiskies we have ever sold, hold it in the mouth and chew it until you drown. Ace. [Blind tasting note from RJ during the SFWC:
Rich sweet Speysider - sherry wood, mellow, mature and well balanced. Oaky, touch of solvents. Very well matured dram, very enjoyable.
SCORE: 4/5Seville oranges, flat, musty but intriguing, a slight reek of peat. Very sweet like runny honey. Taste lets it down; hot slightly bitter salty finish. Can I use the word vanilid, please?
