(not that we think you need lessons, many of you have realised this already…)
A less attractive pound in various other markets means you can buy from us for considerably less than before, the Bank of England’s new rate announced today should mean the pound stays good value for a while longer.
For example if you bought a £30 bottle from us in July:
It would have cost you 38 EURO, at the recent low it cost 30 EURO – Euro customers will also benefit from the reduced VAT rate in the UK.
In American Dollars: July’s $60 fell to $44 (!) a saving of 25%
A Yen from Japan in July 6467.58Y fell to 3902.64Y a drop of 40%
The pound has strengthened a bit since these lows but it is still a good time to buy if yours is one of these currencies.
