What if a touch of smoke from our peated malted barley was introduced in the distillation process? The Islay character is quite distinctive from that of the Bunnahabhain single malt , known for its gentle taste. Toiteach (pronounced Toch Chach - so that's clear then) means 'smoky' in Gaelic, reflecting the seeming contradiction that this peaty paradox represents.

This special bottling offers the connoisseur an opportunity to try something truly unique and beguiling in nature. The liquid has been masterfully distilled and quietly matured at the distillery, never for a moment leaving Islay during this process.

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: A light golden hue glows from within.
Aroma: Charming peatiness with a subtle nose, prickling strength emanates from the dram.
Palate: Immediate warming peaty flavours drift towards a slightly sweet sherry influence with delicate peppery notes.
Finish: Good robust length with extremely pleasant aftertaste- beautifully peated Bunnahabhain single malt for the discerning palate!'

RRP £50 and extremely limited.

Old Pulteney 30yo

due soon RRP £250

Jura Paps

On their way...

Kilkerran

Due early June

Glengoyne 40yo

<img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; Addition of a little water releases a vibrant spicy character with hints of vanilla, butterscotch and polished leather.
Taste - A wonderful balance of rich oak notes and sweet, fruity spice. Initially very intense with lots of oak tannin and mouth-coating wood flavour. After a few minutes a subtle vanilla sweetness and gentle fruity character develops (baked apple, rhubarb, ripe pears). The layers of flavour continue to unfold over a very long period meandering from oak to sweet to fruity to spicy and back again.
Finish - Very long and lingering with a warm, sweet afterglow.
